Just outside of Sutton town centre, the site, on the corner of Brighton Road and Cavendish Road, contains three detached two-storey dwellings. The site was identified for redevelopment at a higher, optimised density due to the scale of surrounding buildings and highly sustainable location.
The proposed development would see the erection of 28 residential units over a five-storey building. The design has been altered and amended through engagement with the Council and local community, proposing a high quality finish with space for high quality landscaping to grow to maturity, and a private play area for use by future occupants and visitors.
Working with Formation Architects and MJP Planning, alongside a network of consultants, an implementable development proposal has been submitted to Sutton Council for their consideration. A favourable determination is expected in Q2 2023.
