J Group Platinum is recruiting a Construction Engineer to join our team and work on various projects across the UK. As a Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, such as buildings, bridges, roads, dams, and pipelines.
- Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Coordinating and supervising the work of contractors, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Ensuring that the construction works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Conducting site inspections and quality control tests.
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress, performance, and budget of the construction works.
- Identifying and resolving any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in construction engineering within the property development and investment sector.
- A valid professional engineering license or chartered engineer status.
- A thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other relevant software tools.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and project management skills.
- A keen eye for detail and quality.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude to work in a dynamic environment.
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
